Acupuncture is a method and system by which a practitioner of Chinese Medicine utilizes very fine sterile stainless steel needle to lightly puncture the skin into the muscle or points in channels to facilitate the movement of “Qi” or energy through nerve pathways and make the body to adjust and function properly again.
Chinese medicine was developed and practiced throughout Asia since around 100 BC in China, around the time The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine (Huang di – Nei Jing) was published. It is now practiced in nearly all the continents around the world and is accepted in many communities. It does share its practical uses for treatment of a variety of illnesses that may plague humans.
Dr Luan Pham is our resident practitioner here and he strives to give you the best treatment available using acupuncture. He has over 17 years of experience under his belt since graduating at Victoria University back in 2002.
He is a recognized member and provider to the Chinese Medicine Registration Board and Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency.
